Legal Status

The Awakened Consciousness is a nonprofit religious corporation organized under the laws of the State of Washington. The Church operates in accordance with applicable state and federal law, including protections afforded to religious organizations under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution and Section 508(c)(1)(A) of the Internal Revenue Code. Governance is vested in the Board of Directors as defined in the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.

Age Requirement

Participation in services, membership, and Church activities is limited to individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. Unless accompanied by both parents. The Awakened Consciousness does not currently admit minors into services, or sacramental gatherings.

Minors under the age of 18 may be members of the church. They may participate in Sunday service and the teachings. Minors are prohibited from attending ceremonies and/or partaking of the sacred sacrament.

Minors roles within the church are solely as students of the doctrine.

All minors in the church must have a parent/ or legal guardian that is a member of the church.

Privacy Policy

The Awakened Consciousness respects the privacy of its members and participants. Information collected through membership forms, event registration, or communication channels may include full legal name, preferred name, date of birth, address, email address, and other relevant administrative information. We do not sell, rent, or distribute personal information to third parties. Information is used solely for Church communication, administration, record keeping, and internal governance. Records are maintained in accordance with applicable law and religious protections governing nonprofit religious organizations.

Data Security

Personal information is stored using commercially reasonable security measures, including password-protected and access-restricted digital storage. Access to membership records is limited to authorized leadership. While reasonable safeguards are implemented, no digital storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Confidentiality

Discussions during services, gatherings, and integration conversations are intended to remain confidential within the community. Members are expected to respect the privacy and vulnerability of others. The Church cannot guarantee confidentiality where disclosure is required by law.

Terms of Participation

Participation in services, discussions, and Church activities is voluntary. Members are responsible for their own conduct, decisions, and well-being. The Church reserves the right to restrict or remove participation if conduct violates the Code of Conduct or threatens the safety or unity of the community.

Voluntary Spiritual Participation

Engagement in spiritual practices, including meditation, breath work, and any engagement with Our Sacred Sacrament, is voluntary. The Church does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, or legal advice or treatment. Participants are solely responsible for their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. Nothing presented through Church services, teachings, or materials constitutes medical or therapeutic advice.

In-Person Gatherings

Participation in any in-person gathering or ceremonial event requires a separate written acknowledgment of voluntary participation and assumption of personal responsibility. The Church reserves the right to implement screening, safety protocols, and participation standards for in-person events. Attendance at in-person events constitutes acknowledgment of personal responsibility for conduct and well-being.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Awakened Consciousness, its Directors, Officers, and leadership shall not be liable for personal decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from voluntary participation in services, discussions, gatherings, or spiritual practices. Participants assume full responsibility for their choices and conduct.

Donations

All donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Donations support the religious mission, operational expenses, and development of The Awakened Consciousness. Donations do not purchase sacramental access, leadership status, influence, or spiritual advancement.
